OverviewThis private residence in Copenhagen is a meditation on slowness a home designed not to impress, but to restore. Drawing equally from Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy and Scandinavian functionalism, every decision was guided by one question: does this element earn its place?
The result is a 5-room home where natural oak, raw linen, limestone, and jute form a quiet dialogue with diffused northern light. No surface competes for attention. No object is merely decorative.
"The goal was to design a home that feels like a long exhale — where the architecture itself invites you to slow down."
